| If you have just
completed the “Become a Member” page
you will now be taken to a page where you have a
choice to enter a certificate or to just register
your business and log in at another time to create
your certificate.
Let’s assume that you want to create a
certificate, choose “Click Here To Create
a Certificate”
Step 1. You will be asked, "What
is the dollar amount of the certificate?"
You would enter the dollar value of the discount
that you are offering to the purchaser.
Step 2. Select a category or
category suggestion. If you choose “Select
a category a drop down menu will appear with the
available choices. If those category choices are
not appropriate we allow you to suggest a more
appropriate category for your business. We may
accept your suggestion or modify it with the end
user in mind.
Step 3. How many certificates
would you like to offer? You can choose “Unlimited”
or stipulate a number in the appropriate field.
Select a time frame for the certificate. Your
choices here are unlimited and the certificate
will be offer until you go into the management
part of the website to end the offered, or you
can enter a date specific MM/DD/YYYY.
Step 4. The certificate details
field is where you explain the offer to the purchaser,
such as, this certificate entitles holder to $25
off on goods or services purchased at $100 or
more. Other examples, buy one get one free. You
can customize your offer to entice the customer
and encourage him/her to purchase your goods or
services.
Step 5. Terms and Conditions
field allows you to explain the limitations of
your offer. Perhaps not allowing more then one
offer or certificate to be used at the one time,
or that during certain times of the day a certificate
is not valid, or the certificate excludes use
in the purchase of certain goods and services.
Step 6. Some businesses are
regulated and need to provide industry disclosures
as stipulated by government. Some businesses have
industry disclosures that require the use of graphics.
This field allows the business to include those
disclosures for compliance. This is optional and
does not have to be filled out.
To finish your certificate and submit, press
“Create Certificate” button at the
bottom of this page.
The final page explains that we will send an
email to the email address provided so that you
can activate your account. Depending on your level
of security on your e-mail service, your activation
e-mail from www.chambercertificate.com may go
to your “Inbox” or your “Spam
or Junk E-Mail Box”.
Please also note that it may take up to two business
days for a staff person to approve your account
and certificates prior to them being posted for
security purposes. A Chamber staff member always
approves all new members to the program and all
new certificates prior to them being posted.
Once you have set up your account you can add
as many certificates as you like and once a Chamber
staff member approves them they will be posted.
The Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral and the
Cape Coral Chamber Foundation reserves the right
to deny membership to the www.chambercertificate.com
program and deny certificates that are not legitimate,
inappropriate or deemed injurious to purchaser
or the Chamber and Foundation.
